I’m Arabella! I’m an 11 month old English Pointer mix that weighs about 34 pounds. I’m a sweet and elegant spotted girl. I take a little bit of time to warm up to people but once I do I’m a ball of love. I’m still getting used to the new environment at Hudson Paws but am starting to open up more and more everyday. I’m a very curious girl and love to explore outside with my dog pals. All I need is some patience, love, and care!Meet Arabella!Arabella is an 11 month English Pointer mix that weighs about 34 pounds. She was found as a stray in Alabama around 4 months old. Being that Arabella has been in the kennel environment since a young girl she can be a bit shy and timid to new people and environments but tends to warm up quickly with a little time and patience. Once she warms up she becomes such an affectionate and playful girl. With her mellow personality, she is happy to run around in the yard or be curled up on the couch napping away. She is an old soul kind of girl with a heart of gold. She would be great in a home with, or without another dog. All this girl needs is a little bit of tender love, and care! Arabella’s person: Someone who can be patient with her as she overcomes some nerves around leash walking. We are working with her to help her feel more comfortable on leash and she has made nice progress. English Pointers can be great family dogs for active households due to their gentle, playful nature, intelligence, and loyalty. The Pointer's amiable, even temperament and alert good sense make him a congenial and trainable companion both in the field and in the home. Pointers are versatile!
