Neil is a young, adventurous dog who loves going on walks, exploring new scents, and taking in the world around him. He’s also quite the independent guy — give him a chew toy and he’ll keep himself happily entertained! Neil is already mastering his basic training and knows commands like “look” and “sit.” He’s still working on his manners around other dogs, but he’s making great progress every day. While some fast-moving things (like bikes) can still startle him, Neil is learning to stay calm and watch them go by — a big milestone for this brave boy! The best part? Neil’s joy is contagious. He literally jumps for joy when he sees his favorite humans! With a little patience and a lot of love, Neil will be an amazing, loyal companion. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants. The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
