My Story
Meet Opal! A stunning tuxedo with white whiskers and paws, and big yellow eyes that’ll melt your heart! This young mama has had a tough start, having had at least 2 litters of babies in her short life. But she is killing it now as an independent gal in foster care. Most days Opal enjoys sitting in the window tucked in her bed watching the happenings in the neighborhood. She has ventured into the patio to bird watch and see what the squirrels are getting into. She has a blast hunting for toy mice and howls with pride when she finds 'em! String toys and feather toys are her thing, and when she gets the zoomies, it's like, whoa! Watching her run is pure entertainment! Opal's super affectionate, always rubbing up against our legs with her face. She's getting into soft pets, brushing sessions, and CHURROS! - they're like her fave thing ever! Each week, she's getting more trusting and lovey-dovey. She's always on the go, though - watch out for her in the kitchen, she's usually underfoot! Opal will jump up onto the couch more often to see what's popping and check out our snacks. Lately, she's even started climbing onto our laps and chillin' for a bit. She's a sweet girl, friendly and social, just needs a lil' patience and love to help her feel super comfy Opal is playing with her foster family.
