JACK

Jack is an exceptionally well-mannered, easygoing dog who has repeatedly proven himself to be a wonderful companion outside the shelter. He is potty trained, crate trained, rides beautifully in the car, and walks nicely on leash. Jack is calm and patient when being harnessed, loves meeting new people, and settles comfortably into new environments. During multiple day trips, Jack has shown just how adaptable and relaxed he can be. He spent a full day in a professional office setting, remaining quiet, polite, and unfazed by the normal sounds and activity of a busy workplace. New noises, automatic doors, errands were all handled by Jack with ease. While Jack can tolerate being around other dogs on walks and in outdoor settings, he prefers to be the primary focus in the home and can be possessive of his person and would likely do best as the only dog. Jack does not do well with small animals. If you’re looking for a deeply loyal companion who bonds closely with his person, Jack is well worth meeting.
