Valentine

Val (short for Valentine) was rescued by the founders of The Promised Land Dachshund Sanctuary as a puppy in 2016 to be a companion to Jackson — a special needs German Shepherd. Sadly, Jackson passed away only one short month later, but Val has been at the sanctuary ever since. Her name truly fits her, because this beautiful girl has one of the biggest and kindest hearts. She is 10 years old, but has the spunk of a pup half her age. She would do best in a home where she’s the only pet. With Valentine's Day just around the corner, this gal would love to be someone's "Valentine!"
