Below is info about our pet & adoption cost/detail information below that – please read all.  PET DESCRIPTION:  Axel is almost four-years-old, 18 lbs, male, Chihuahua/Dachshund mix.  Surrendered to us when his owner moved and they did not take him.  He is very shy at first but once comfortable very loving but best in adult only home so no children please. He may like women better than men and quickly gets possessive of his owner so not one for a too busy household with lots of people coming and going. We were told he is house-trained & crate-trained.  DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more.  (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).
