My Story
Reba’s life didn’t start the way it should have. She and her sister Funny Girl/Sugar were rescued from a boarded-up, neglected home where more than 100 dogs were living in darkness. Despite that difficult beginning, Reba is a sweet, happy little pup who has truly blossomed in her foster home and is ready to find her forever family. She loves people and has formed a strong bond with her foster, happily spending her days lounging nearby on a cozy couch or dog bed. Reba enjoys being close to her humans and would likely thrive in a home where someone is around much of the day — such as a work-from-home or retired household. She does well with other dogs but would likely love being your one and only so she can soak up all the attention. She’s a great companion for everyday life — she walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, and enjoys getting out for a few walks each day (just not in the rain!). Around the house she is calm and relaxed, happy to simply hang out with her people. Reba has made wonderful progress with housetraining. She does great going outside during the day and still uses paper overnight for #1. She’s continuing to improve with #2 as well and is doing better every week with a consistent routine. Reba is up to date on vaccines, treated for puppy/kitten parasites, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $450. This loving, loyal girl is ready to bring her sweet personality and gentle companionship to a forever home of her own. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home. CLICK HERE TO FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION!
