Aspen

Adopt Aspen! He is a very happy and friendly male Great Pyrenees who loves to play with dogs and gets attention from his people.  We are guessing Aspen was born somewhere between May and November of 2024 as he still has the playful energy of a young dog and has grown a bit since coming into rescue, he's around 82 pounds now. Aspen lives in a foster home with lots of dogs and does well with all. He would do great in a home with playful dogs. He would also do well in a home by himself where he could get lots of attention and time dedicated to playing/walks. Aspen can be a little shy at first with people, but when he warms up, he loves getting attention. He is always happy to see his people.  He does well on a leash and loves walks. When it's time to go for a walk, he can't help but wag his whole body. He knows Sit and Come, especially when treats are involved. He is house-trained. He is crate trained and has behaved very well on car rides.  Aspen is a friendly dog, full of love, and will be a great addition to any home!  He is currently in a foster home in DFW, Texas. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and heart worm negative.
