Meet Sammy!Sammy is a 11-month-old German Shepherd puppy with a big smile and an even bigger heart. He’s incredibly friendly, affectionate, and loves being around people and other dogs. Sammy has a happy, easy-going personality and brings a fun, joyful energy wherever he goes.He walks nicely on a leash, is fully house trained, and adapts well to new situations. Sammy is truly a sweetheart — if play gets a little too rough, he prefers to step back and keep things friendly.Sammy has shown curiosity toward cats but hasn’t had one-on-one experience yet, and his experience around children is currently unknown. He rides well in the car, though he may experience some motion sickness.Sammy is a lovable, handsome young shepherd who’s ready to grow up alongside a family that will give him love, guidance, and plenty of cuddles.  Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications. We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine. The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you.
