Biscuit's owner recently entered assisted living, so he is looking for a new home. He has a permanent leg injury and walks on three legs but gets around well and enjoys leisurely walks. He is affectionate, sweet and well-behaved much of the time, especially in a calm, predictable environment. He does have some anxiety and can become defensive if startled, pressured, or rushed. Because of this, he is best suited for an adult-only home with prior small dog or special needs experience. Potty training is an ongoing challenge, so he will need some work with that. He strongly resists being forced to potty outside and may growl or snap if pressured. Walks work better for him than traditional potty trips, and he may require ongoing management (belly band/diaper or pee pads). He has daily accidents at this time. Biscuit is looking for a safe, calm, and quiet home to live out the next part of his life.
