Hi, I’m Chai, and I am approx. 7 years old!  I have a very gentle nature and sweet disposition.  I love to show affection by rubbing my face on you.  Once I get to know you I will even give you a nose-to-nose kiss. I am fairly quiet, but I like to give you mews as a greeting and while I explore. A nice lady found me eating with her colony of feral cats and brought me into her house. I slept a lot at first, finally feeling safe and having a full belly. I especially love my fleece blanket for making biscuits and curling up. I really like being brushed by a soft brush and how nice it makes my coat look. From Chai's Original Foster: I found Chai on the streets, very dirty and underweight. He has clearly been in a house before; I can only wonder about his story. Chai is very easy to handle, has only shown love and seeks affection. He is very confident and explored his bedroom easily without hiding, then settled on a queen size bed for a nap. He has a very gentle soul. The colony cats did not mind him. I imagine he would get along with other cats given a proper introduction. There’s not much that phaseshim!  Chai did not meet our dog face to face but from under the door: he showed no reaction. I speculate Chai is a bit hard of hearing. He loves best laying on a heating pad, hanging out and head rubs. I hope it is in your heart to give this mature boy the forever loving home he so deserves.
