My Story

Louis Q has been through a lot in the past month. From getting dumped out in the winter cold, to being found and taken to a rescue for safety and warmth, to getting neutered and then to a pet supply store! This poor fella doesn't know which way is up. However, we have learned he has the sweetest heart and is trying to be brave. He just doesn't know who he can trust anymore. We found he likes tuna, treats and being told he's a good boy and that he is safe. Then he will come and get all the pets he wants and will roll over for you. He loves head rubs and will push his head into your hand. He gets so happy that we can't even get a picture! Louis Q will take a little time to settle into his home, and is obviously not a big fan of change, but he will be worth the wait as he has so much love to give! DOB: 2/3/2023 Come meet me at Petco Easton Gateway !! All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. **If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at  https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html  to expedite the process.  Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.** Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive cats can live normal lives both in quality and duration. They do take special care in terms of monitoring them for signs of infection.  FIV can be passed from cat to cat via deep bite wounds, but not from casual contact so positive cats can live with negative cats without the fear of spreading FIV as long as they get along and are spayed/neutered.
