Sage

Questions about Sage and/or our adoption policy should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the Rescue's number.*** Sage and her seven littermates came into our rescue as owner surrenders and with the help of the Shamrock Animal Welfare League of Dublin, GA. While the owner did keep the mom and dad to these pups, Shamrock assisted the owner with having both spay/neutered. Unfortunately, we do not have any pics of the mom and dad. While with her former owner, Sage and her siblings didn't receive much socialization and all were pretty apprehensive of people. Since coming to SoCo, our staff has been dedicated to working on helping them overcome their apprehension of humans and they've all made very good progress. Sage will do good in a home with another well-socialized dog or an owner who is experienced, patient and understanding that she may take some time to fully open up once in a new home. Regardless, this friendly, playful girl should grow into becoming a great friend to whoever is lucky enough to adopt her.  Sage has now received an update on her annual vaccinations, de-wormed and treated against any possible parasites at proper intervals. Her adopter should follow their vet's advice on future vaccinations and such.  She will also be spay prior to her adoption. Sage will require all of her basic training.
