Joni

Joni was originally a stray in Oakland and these days, she loves nothing more than cuddles, belly rubs, blanket naps, and sun bathing. Joni loves love, takes treats oh so gently, gives out sweet kisses, looks into your eyes with a grin, and will even snooze in your arms. She is approx. 4 years old and 38lbs. Joni has dry eye that requires eye drops 2x's a day and skin dermatitis, which has been healed through medicated shampoo's and mousse and will hopefully be a thing of the past. She is still getting the hang of walking on a leash without pulling and she’s making progress each day with training. She does have a strong prey drive, like a true terrier breed, and this is something her current family has been working on. so no small animals or no small children in the home for Miss Joni's future family. During her time at the shelter, Joni participated in dog play group with the big dogs and enjoyed it. She’s a special spirit and she's ready to meet you!
