She’s joining us after being surrendered to another local shelter following the heartbreaking loss of her beloved human.  With so much change and transition in her life, it’s no surprise that she was feeling a little unsure at first. But even through the turmoil, Shorty’s beautiful personality shines through. And one thing is very clear ... Shorty does nothing short-y! She plays big! Think full-on mouse-toy wrestling championships, dramatic feather-toy kangaroo leaps, and the kind of enthusiasm that turns a living room into a stadium. And she loves big, too. Shorty’s bond with her humans runs deep. She’s the kind of girl who connects wholeheartedly, leaning into affection, seeking closeness, and reminding you every day how special that human–cat bond can be.The Rescue is open 7 days a week for you to come and meet our pets! Walk-ins are welcome! In order to interact with them, you’ll need a simple questionnaire filled out.
