Sam was rescued from a high kill shelter in the south. She is arriving to NY on 2/21/26 and is staying with a foster family. She is hoping to find her forever family.    Sam is a sweet, gentle girl who absolutely loves to be held and coddled. She’s the kind of puppy who melts right into you and feels safest tucked close to her person. When she’s wrestling with her sister, she has the cutest little tactic — she’ll sneak under your legs for shelter like it’s her secret strategy move. It’s adorable and totally her style. Sam is a foodie at heart — kibble and treats are life! Her favorite activity is scattered treat time (especially in the snow). Sprinkle some treats and watch her happily search and sniff with pure joy. More cuddler than rough-and-tumble, Sam will look up at you with those deep brown puppy eyes and completely steal your heart. She’s soft, loving, and happiest when she’s close.
