Mesquite

Hi! My name is Mesquite! I am a handsome 3 year old flashy fawn boy that was once a stray in central texas, but have found the rescue and am thriving now! I have low to medium energy and enjoy following my humans around to see if I can partake in what they are doing or relaxing around the house. I can also entertain myself with a bone or a toy in the backyard when I get tired of relaxing. I am house trained, crate trained, and leash trained! I play with other dogs pretty rough and it's not always accepted well by other dogs, so I would do best as an only dog or with a submissive dog friend. When the humans are away, I prefer to be left out to freely roam in my foster home because I do not like the crate and will whine and bark but eventually settle.
