Margie - Female DOB 2/17/2025 Domestic Short Hair - Orange/White  Margie is one of those sweet, affectionate cats who just needs a few days to feel safe before she lets her personality shine. She has a gentle heart, and while she can be unsure until she's had time to settle in, once she realizes you’re there to give her love, she relaxes and enjoys being petted. We don’t know what her past was like, but she definitely seems like a kitty who hasn’t always been shown kindness, so patience goes a long way with her.  When you rub on her cheeks and chin, she will push her face into your hand to let you know she loves your attention.  She also loves her back scratched and rubbed. Margie will need a calm, quiet home where she has a sunny window to look out or sun herself, and just be near her person in that quiet, comforting way that shy cats do. She isn’t looking for a chaotic environment — she does best with calm energy and predictable routines. She would do best with no dogs and no children.  She will do fine going home by herself or to another calm, mellow kitty in the home after a slow introduction.
