MANUEL NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Come meet Manuel and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (3/22) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Silver Spring (12020 Cherry Hill Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20904)!   Name:   Manuel        Best Guess for Breed:  Jack Russell terrier and lab mix Best Guess for Age:  9 months as of February 2026        SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight:   28 lbs as of 3/1/26; likely has a bit more to grow   Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Manuel is Looking For:    Hi! I'm Manuel. My sister Beauty and I had some good times together but she went off to get her own humans and I'm looking for mine too. I haven't seen enough of the world yet and I can't wait to explore it. Sniffy walks, romps in parks, all the adventures my humans can dream up - yes, please! I'd love to make pup pals along the way. Oh and I want to go to dog school to learn how to be the bestest boy!   But more than any of that, I want to be safe and loved, to know where I belong. I promise so many adoring gazes and so much loyal companionship in return. What do you say? Is there a spot in your home and your heart for me? What My Foster Says About Me:   Manuel is a fine, little gentleman! He’s been respectful of my senior resident dog and has been calm and sweet when meeting new people and dogs. He loves exploring the neighborhood on his sniffy walks, and he sleeps well in his crate at night. He had his first day at daycare and did great. They said he had a blast playing with other pups! When another dog approaches him, it’s game on and nonstop play. He truly loves everyone, and he’s a terrific cuddler. His future family is very lucky! Now he just needs to find them.     Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
