My family member is elderly and she can no longer care for her 13 yo German Shepherd since her husband died. Can you provide a loving home for Lucy? She is as sweet as can be and her mom has taken very good care of her medical needs. She needs a new owner who can afford Lucy's monthly medications/shots ($225). She needs a calm home where she can spend the rest of her days. She is very gentle, loving, and protective, but also very strong, so she wouldn't do well in a family with young children.
