My Story

Money is proof that love never gives up. This sweet 15-year-old senior boy has experienced more loss than any cat should. He first came to our rescue after his young owner, just 33 years old, passed away unexpectedly. He was adopted into a loving home where he lived a blissfully happy life for eight wonderful years. Sadly, he has now returned to us after his adopter entered a nursing home. Money has loved deeply — twice. And now, he’s looking for one final soft place to land. We expected him to need time to decompress after so much change and heartbreak, but his people-loving personality has shined through from day one. The moment he sees you, he trots over and rubs against your legs, happily announcing that he’s ready for affection. He adores attention. He is a true lap cat. Sit down, and he will gently hop up, purring and kneading contentedly. He’ll sleep beside you, chat with you in soft meows, and happily keep you company throughout your day. If you’re longing for a loyal companion to share quiet moments, Money is your boy. He also has the most charming, one-of-a-kind markings — including a tiny white tip on his tail and a perfect gray spot on his face. You won’t find another cat who looks quite like him. Money would thrive in a calm, quiet home where he can soak up love and give it right back. He deserves stability, comfort, and someone who understands just how special senior cats are. He is neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped, has had full bloodwork, and is healthy. He is also front declawed.
