Meet Penny Lane Hi there! I’m Penny Lane, and I’m so happy you found me. I came to Lucky Tales Rescue after my family of five years ran into housing issues. It was a big change, but I’m settling beautifully into my foster home and learning that new beginnings can be pretty wonderful. My foster family calls me their perfect little angel—and I do my best to live up to that title every day. I’m about 40 pounds of sweet, snuggly Shar Pei mix (mixed with what… well, a girl likes a little mystery ). I’m 5 years young and at that perfect age where I can be playful when it’s time and calm when it’s not. I’m doing great with other dogs and cats, and I’ve been told I did well with kids in my previous home too. I have the softest, raspiest little bark—but honestly, I’ve been so content in foster care that I haven’t even felt the need to use it much! I appear to be fully potty trained (no accidents here!) and I sleep quietly through the night in my crate like a pro. On walks, I do enjoy a brisk “Penny pace”—there’s just so much to see and explore—but I’m otherwise very easygoing. My absolute favorite things? Soft toys, cozy spots, and being near my people. I’m a gentle, loving girl who’s ready to bring warmth and companionship to my forever home. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key best friend with a heart of gold… I think we might be a perfect match
