Axel

Axel came to Hilton Head Humane from Beaufort County Animal Services, and from the very beginning, we knew he was something special. Axel had Heartworm, but he faced his treatment with quiet bravery. Through treatment, rest, and lots of love, he pulled through like a champion. Axel is almost 8 years old, he loves stretching out his 81-lb. body in the sun, going for relaxed walks, and soaking up every bit of attention he can get!
