My Story
Iyo is a precious little lady who was saved from a life on the streets. This two-year-old calico is so sweet but also a nervous girl. She loves to be petted and will nuzzle into your hand, but she is scared of fast movements. When you are sitting down with her, she loves to make biscuits and drool while she purrs. Iyo would do well starting off her new life with you in a small room (spare bathroom, office) where she can't hide so that you can bond with her. Then once she is more comfortable, she will enjoy exploring the whole house. In time, you will be rewarded by the most lovely girl who is also just gorgeous. Iyo loves other cats and would probably do well with calm dogs. Older kids would be fine, but loud, younger children would likely scare her. See more of Iyo on Instagram @KittyCatClimberGirl Foster: BS Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for kittens (6 months & under) $125 for cats (older than 6 months) $75 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email cats@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time.
