My Story
Pinky is a compact, energetic, and affectionate girl who came to us as a stray from Fairfield. Sheâs full of personality and loves bonding closely with her people; once she warms up, she becomes a playful, loving, and loyal companion. At first, Pinky can be shy with new people, showing gentle appeasement behaviors like lowering her body, tail tucking, or even small submissive signals. But with patience and calm introductions, she blossoms quickly, showing excitement, curiosity, and a strong desire to connect. Sheâs very social with people and enjoys physical contact, often happily perching on laps or snuggling while napping. Pinky is active and playful, with bursts of energy for running, exploring, and playing with toys. She loves sniffing on walks and enjoys discovering new places like the beach. She also has a high affinity for treats, which makes training and enrichment a fun experience for her. Because of her strong prey drive and selective dog reactivity, Pinky is best suited for a home without other dogs or cats at this time. She will need a household that can provide slower introductions to new people, plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and a consistent routine. She thrives when she feels secure, and she bonds deeply with her humans.
