This big, handsome guy weighs in at a whopping 12.3 pounds and is still underweight, so there’s even more of him to love once he fills out. He may have “accidentally” charmed his way into one of his foster homes, and honestly, we’re not surprised. Markel has excellent litter box manners and is an absolute lap cat. He is extremely affectionate and genuinely loves people. If you sit down, he assumes it’s an invitation. If you’re standing, he’ll likely follow along to see what adventure is happening next. He has those stunning golden eyes that you can get completely lost in, and he’s chatty in the best orange boy way. He’s confident, curious, communicative, and enthusiastic about pretty much everything, especially food. He’s playful and athletic when the moment calls for it, but just as happy to be chill and lazy when it’s time to snuggle. He’s gentle, resilient, a little quirky, and full of extroverted charm. Basically, Markel is the kind of cat who makes himself at home in your heart very quickly.
