ANTHONY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:  Anthony       Best Guess for Breed:   Chihuahua mix  Best Guess for Age:  1 year as of February 2026        SEX:    Male   Approximate Weight:   8.56 lbs   Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here.    Special adoption considerations: Anthony is a bit shy right now. He needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog who will show him the ropes.    Anthony is Looking For:  His forever home! This small sweetie and his brother Issa have enjoyed growing up together but now they're ready to split up and get their own humans. Anthony is young, hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet, and is eager for long sniffy walks and romps and all the adventures his new family can dream up. Right now, the world seems so big and he is so small, and he'd like a friendly resident dog who will show him how to dog!And snuggles. Definitely snuggles. Most of all, though, he wants to know where he belongs and to be safe and loved for all his days. In exchange he promises so many adoring gazes, so much loyal companionship. What do you say?
