FLASH NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!   Come meet Flash and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (March 1st) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Alexandria (3351 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22305)!   Name:  Flash       Best Guess for Breed:  Belgian Malinois mix Best Guess for Age:  1 year as of February 2026        SEX:    Female Approximate Weight:  48 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   DC area shelter - needs a foster home in the DC area!   Check out this video of Flash: https://youtube.com/shorts/JvmuINVbasA.   Special adoption considerations:   Flash is shy and needs a welcoming resident dog who will show her the ropes!   Flash is Looking For:   Flash was found as a stray during the winter storm and was able to fend for herself for weeks before she was caught and taken in by her foster family.  She wants nothing more than to be safe and loved, to know where she belongs, to have her own humans for world exploration and all those activities - maybe nosework, maybe advanced agility training. To get there, she needs extra patient and loving adopters who understand she hasn't seen enough of the world and can be shy in new environments. She needs a friendly resident dog who will show her how to dog.    In exchange she promises so many adoring gazes, so much love, and intense loyalty for all her days. What do you say? Can you see her by your side? What My Foster Says About Me:  Flash is an incredibly sweet girl and will do well with a patient adopter as she learns the world isn’t so scary! She absolutely loves to play with dogs and will do well learning the ropes from a resident dog! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
