My Story
Meet Dublin! Dublin is a 2-year-old, 10-pound male cat with a sweet and affectionate personality. Originally found as a stray on November 1, 2025, he was recently surrendered due to space limitations and is now looking for a loving forever home. He is described as a very sweet cat who is great with people and does well with children. Dublin is litterbox trained, making him an easy addition to a family ready to welcome a feline companion. Dublin's adoption fee is $50. He is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccine, and FVRCP booster. He is FELV negative but sadly tested FIV positive. FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) affects a cat's immune system, but many FIV-positive cats live long, happy, and normal lives with routine veterinary care and a safe indoor environment. FIV is primarily transmitted through deep bite wounds, so it is not easily spread through casual contact such as sharing food bowls, litter boxes, or grooming. Because of this, many FIV-positive cats can live peacefully with other friendly, non-aggressive cats.
