APPLICATION REQUIRED from www.dashdog.org Adoption Fee $450 - the fee is NON-NEGOTIABLE and is not specific for any dog or puppy; it goes to the expenses of the organization as a whole* OUR APPLICATION IS ON www.dashdog.org and must be completed in order to set up a meeting. Our listed dogs ARE READY IMMEDIATELY; we only meet with families WHO ARE READY TO ADOPT! IF YOU APPLY and if WE APPROVE YOU it means we are assuming when you meet any of our dogs and fall in love you're ready to ADOPT AND HIM OR HER HOME! Meet Brody! Brody is a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd looking for a loving new home. He’s a perfect size small standard male with one blue eye one brown eye! Brody is smart, enthusiastic and highly treat-motivated making him a joy to train. Brody knows most basic commands and genuinely enjoys learning and working with his person. Brody is fully crate trained and potty trained, so he already has great house manners. While he’s still polishing his leash skills, he improves every day and is eager to please. Beyond his intelligence, Brody has a sweet side—he loves to cuddle and happily soaks up affection and pets. Brodie gets along with other dogs and very atypically for Aussies, likes men; in his current home he follows the husband around eager to please. Brody came from Dallas Animal Services and has been living with a foster family. They are recommending herding breed experience because Brody can be reactive when he gets overstimulated. He also hasn’t been taking a lot of places so that would really help with socialization for people who know how to train. Brody would do well in a home that appreciates an intelligent, trainable dog who enjoys both mental stimulation and quality cuddle time. To arrange an adoption meeting with Brody please complete our application on the website below, THEN TEXT SARA: 214-549-9905 So I can check your app and get back to you! www.dashdog.org General Info - PLEASE READ! *Our $450 adoption fee is based on the cost of rescuing, transporting and vetting each dog; we do not try to compete on prices with municipal shelters whose funds are paid by the city. Our philosophy is to rescue highly adoptable dogs, have them live kennel-free in private homes for temperament assessments and individual personalities. We work hard to match EACH dog with the right family - kids or no kids, other dogs male or female and/or cats. With very rare exceptions all dogs over 6 months will be spayed or neutered PRIOR to adoption - dogs under 6 months will include a spay/neuter date AND referral info for lower-cost surgery if the adopter does not choose to use her or his personal vet. OUR VETS WILL NOT PERFORM SPAY NEUTER SURGERIES UNTIL DOG IS 6 MONTHS OLD.
