Well hello! I’m Hazelnut, a pretty little kitty. But don’t be fooled by my looks - I like to wrestle and play as much as my two brothers! In fact, I’m a curious lady who loves to check things out. If you’re standing next to me, I just might climb your leg like a tree so I can see what’s going on. I had a rough start in life, but I’ve been resilient and brave. I don’t meow much, but I do love to purr. I haven’t been around dogs yet, but my foster mom guesses I would enjoy a canine friend. Submit your application to meet me at my foster home in South Aurora/Centennial. I have been fixed, microchipped, and had all my vaccines. My claws are extra sharp, so I’m not a great fit for kiddos. I was born in December 2025.    Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $350 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes.  These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $225 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes.  These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $225 for kittens (6 months & under)    $150 for cats (older than 6 months)    $100 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application  here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process!
