PEPPER

Meet Pepper, a 7-month-old Labrador Retriever / Pit Bull Terrier mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. Pepper’s story started here at the shelter after she arrived as a stray puppy. She was lovingly raised in foster until she found a home, but through no fault of her own she has recently been surrendered and is now searching for the forever family she truly deserves.This friendly girl greets people easily and happily approaches to say hello. She’s social, affectionate, and enjoys being close to her humans. When staff give her head pats or back scratches, Pepper happily leans in for more attention; she clearly loves the company of people. Pepper already knows “sit” and walks fairly well on leash, showing that she’s eager to learn and ready to continue building her skills. Like many young dogs, she will benefit from continued training, structure, and positive experiences as she grows .She has also shown interest in playing with other dogs, so a dog-to-dog meet is recommended to make sure everyone is a good match. At just 7 months old, Pepper is still very much a puppy with lots of love, fun, and adventures ahead of her. With her friendly nature and affectionate personality, she has all the makings of a wonderful family companion.
