Jake

Hi I’m Jake!  I was very skinny when I was rescued and be food aggressive or guard my food. Because of this I would do best in a home without small children. I am gaining weight and very happy now!  I’m an energetic pup that would love lots of exercise. I’m well mannered and good on the leash. I would love to be your running or hiking partner!  I am also very smart and enjoy lots of mental activity too!    Some info from his current foster:   Jake is a wonderful dog that gets along well with other animals and humans. He has a loud bark but is very friendly. Jake is crate trained and sleeps well at night - no barking. Jake does have a lot of extra energy. He will need at least 2 20 minute walks daily. Does well at the dog park and dog beach. Jake responds well to treats. He is easy to train. He learned to sit after just a few days.
