Jake

🐾 Meet Jake Jake has quite the story. He wandered onto a ranch with a group of dogs, and when the others moved on, he stayed behind. The ranch manager took him in and began fostering him, quickly falling in love—but unfortunately wasn’t able to keep him long-term. Jake is truly the sweetest guy. He loves to play, but more than anything, he lives for snuggles. He’s the kind of dog who always wants to be close and will happily stay right by your side (or on top of you if you let him!). He’s already a well-mannered boy—kennel trained, potty trained, knows “sit,” and walks well on a leash. Jake has done well meeting other dogs and tends to ignore cats. However, he does show some resource guarding around food, particularly with other dogs. Because of this, he would do best in a home that understands how to manage feeding time appropriately, or possibly as the only dog. Jake is an incredibly loving and loyal companion who just wants to be someone’s best friend. With the right home, he is going to be an amazing addition.
