My Story

Jenna thought she had her forever home… but it fell through. This tiny girl has already spent far too much of her young life waiting. We pulled Jenna from one of our local shelters where she had been sitting in a cage more hours than not since November 10, 2025 after coming in as a stray found with kittens. The stress of all that confinement and likely loosing her babies took a toll on her and she began over-grooming and pulling out her hair just trying to cope. But once she came here and started getting what she truly needed — love, reassurance, and hours of being held — everything changed. The over-grooming has stopped. Her fur is coming back. And her sweet little personality is shining again. ✨Jenna is what we call a “people cat.”She bonds deeply and just wants a person to adore. She will happily sit with you, follow you around, and soak up all the affection you’re willing to give.Because she loves her humans so much, Jenna would really prefer to be the only kitty in the home. She does tolerate dogs and honestly most dogs aren’t interested in a tiny cat trying to cuddle them anyway.Right now Jenna is safe with us, but nobody is going to find her tucked away here at the cottage. We will likely have to move her to the pet store soon, and we would love to find her person before she has to spend more time in a cage again. Her only “crimes”?• Loving her humans a little too intensely• Occasionally trying to scratch the couch (she’s already learning to redirect to her scratching pad!)If you’re looking for a super petite, extremely loving little shadow who will treat you like the most important person in the world, Jenna might be your girl. Please consider opening your heart and home to this tiny princess. And if you can’t adopt, sharing Jenna’s story could help her person find her.
