Say hello to Mateo, a very special boy looking for a forever family, or for someone to take over fostering him as his current foster family will be moving away soon. He's about 2 years old, and weighs 30 lbs. Mateo is a tripod, having been hit by a car earlier on, and as a result of that his bladder and bowels need to be expressed regularly.  He's on a daily regimen of gabapentin and carprofen. But Mateo is a resilient little guy with a happy spirit and a joy for life. He doesn't dwell on what he's lost, instead he focuses on moving, playing and loving.  Mateo happily uses wheels to get around, is dog friendly, and loves playing with other dogs when he is in his wheelchair.  He is good with older kids and adults, and is deserving of a very special family to call his own.  A happy dog like Mateo doesn't see himself as 'missing' anything.  He just sees another good day  Please contact  Jacob Foerster at jacob.v.foerster123@gmail.com  for more information or to meet Mateo.
