Meet Tiger Lily, the mama cat! Tiger Lily is a momma bear with big feelings. When she isn’t cool with something, she is not afraid to tell you. She has a petite sweet appearance and a little meow to match. She enjoys being pet, on her terms. Being picked up? That’s a no. Playing? That’s a yes. Snacks? That’s a yes. Tiger Lily is looking for a cat savvy adopter that will read her body language and respect her wishes. She may need some time to work out her big feelings in the transition to the new home but after a period, we think she will settle right in and make someone a great companion.Tiger Lily came to the Shelter with her two kids Georgina and Bear (also up for adoption). She could go to a home with them or potentially live with another cat with a slow, thoughtful integration. She should be indoors only in her next home. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
