OTHELLO

Our feline friend Othello has been around and came around the shelter a few times in the past year. Originally, he had come to us as a stray. The microchip registered to him brought us back to the finder, who then tried to say they did not own the cat but would like to adopt if there was no owner. But they were the owner who was registered to the microchip-- we asked if they'd like to claim their cat back from us, to which they let us know they did not have the means to do so. Then, as of recently we did adopt out Othello! However, the adopters had unrealistic expectations for Othello. As Othello did not enjoy having gone to the groomers less than a week of adoption. He was a bit freaked out from getting wet and meeting a lot of new things all of a sudden. Othello is a good boy, who does enjoy a good brushing-- but we recommend going slow for the introduction of new things and letting him become comfortable at home first before big adventures! He loves to play with toys, especially string and mice. Othello has a lot of personality and love to give, if he sounds like the kitty-kat for you we'd love for you to meet him!
