Raya

Princess Raya is a 10 week old Aussie / GSD mix. Mom was a known stray in a rural part of Fresno. Shortly after having pups a Good Samaritan tried bringing her to safety - unfortunately she got away one day and was hit and killed by a car…her pups abandoned at a young age.  Raya and her sisters came to rescue with a non-contagious skin infection but it’ll be a while before all her hair grows back.  She’s not feeling sorry for herself. She’s made tremendous progress and shows us daily how resilient dogs can be.   Raya is the leader of the Princess Pack. She is fiercely intelligent and has a wonderful, sweet demeanor. She’s toy motivated and loves to follow her human around. At only 10 weeks old, she’s packed with potential.   It’s been about a week since she arrived and her skin is healing rapidly. She’s on course to being able to set sail into a home within the next week or two, we presume. Big dog lovers, she will likely be 50-60lbs at maturity. Raya is microchipped, on a vaccine schedule, and can go home on a spay contract. Raya is in Arroyo Grande, CA.
