My Story
Meet PromiseWe may have only known Promise for a short time, but it didn’t take long to see the fun, loving girl tucked beneath all that gorgeous hair. She carries herself with a calm, thoughtful energy — the kind of old soul who seems to understand the world a little deeper than most.Promise is looking for a quiet, steady home with kids 16 and older, where she can feel safe, supported, and able to open up at her own pace. She’s also a bit unsure around other dogs, so she would do best as the only dog or with one older, calm dog who won’t overwhelm her.We promise she’s a wonderful dog — tender, observant, and ready to leave the chaos of shelter life behind. With patience and a peaceful routine, she’ll blossom into the loyal, loving companion she’s meant to be.Promise's adoption fee is $150, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet!
