My Story
Bonnie (TX1) is a female Blue Heeler mix who was estimated by our veterinary partner to be 1 year old at the time of intake in January 2026. Bonnie is good with people and other dogs.Bonnie was skin and bones when she was found by our team in Texas. With our help, she has gained weight, gotten stronger and learned there are good people. This sweet, small girl is now ready for her forever home. She's about 25 lbs, perfect for city living or the suburbs. She loves running around and playing with other dogs. She may be small but she's happy to jump if it means she can be closer to her humans. Make Bonnie part of your family and let her give you as much love as we've given her. If you would like to adopt Bonnie, and invite her into your comfortable, loving home as a family member well loved and safe, please apply at: www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org Please also be sure to reference her name as Bonnie (TX1) in case of duplicate names within the rescue. Thank you! RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue. All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption. Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
