Arthur Read

Arthur Read is a 3-month-old Husky/German Shepherd mix who is a gentle puppy still finding his confidence. He can be shy at first and takes a little time to warm up, but he loves following and learning from other dogs. Having a playful dog companion has already helped him start to come out of his shell. Arthur enjoys being near his people and will quietly hang out alongside you, though he’s doesn’t actively seek out affection just yet. As he continues to settle in, we’re seeing more of his sweet personality every day. For such a young puppy, Arthur is doing wonderfully with potty training and crate training. He sleeps through the night in his crate and already knows “sit.” He’s also beginning to learn how to walk on a leash. So far, Arthur has shown himself to be a calm, easygoing puppy. He likes to explore for a bit and then find a cozy spot to lie down. He’s not overly hyper and has been non-destructive in his foster home. Arthur would thrive in a patient home that will help build his confidence, ideally with another friendly resident dog to guide him.
