Meet Ripley! Ripley is an approximately 7 year-old female German Shorthaired Pointer mix who is now looking for a loving forever home. She was found running loose on Anna Cade Drive on 3/7/26 and, sadly, no one came forward to reclaim her. Now Ripley is ready for a fresh start with a family who will cherish her in her golden years. Ripley is a gentle, calm, and incredibly sweet girl who has quickly won the hearts of the shelter staff. She enjoys meeting new people and happily accepts pets and attention from anyone willing to share a little love. She also walks nicely on a leash, making her a wonderful companion for relaxed strolls and quiet time with her people. Because Ripley is still new to the shelter, we are still learning how she does with other dogs. If you currently have a dog at home, a meet and greet will be required prior to adoption to ensure everyone gets along well. Ripley's adoption fee is $125, which includes her spay, microchip, rabies vaccination, boosters to date, and heartworm test. Her spay surgery, rabies vaccine, and heartworm test are scheduled for Wednesday, 03/18/26. This appointment date is non-negotiable and required in accordance with Texas state law, so adopters should plan ahead for this appointment.
