Mr Peabody

Mr Peabody is named after a very intelligent cartoon dog, and there's good reason for that. Mr Peabody (the dove) found himself out in the wild trying to survive. He was smart enough to know he needed help, and he self-rescued to a couple who were enjoying time out on their porch. All the sudden, poof! Mr Peabody appeared and refused to leave! He even stayed very calm and collected when the kind couple picked him up to bring him indoors.
