Higgins w/ Cookie

Update 6/1/23: Higgins is a high energy, highly social & very bi-cultural (avian-human) pigeon. He & his mate Cookie have transferred to the Ploughshares foster flock in Alameda & he is very, very busy driving his wife all over to a nest they don't yet have & landing on all the humans to demand attention, recognition, respect & admiration. He is a lot! (And a favorite of the volunteers.)Update 1/11/23: Higgins & Cookie are happily married, determined egg layers, nest sitters & good flock citizens. Higgins is happy in the aviary & loves to land on his people friends & supervise their chores. He's a bit of a micro manager. Update 10/10/20: Confirmed people-pigeon Higgins surprised everyone by marrying a sweet pigeon lady named Cookie!Handsome Higgins came into Palomacy when his person, who had lovingly cared for him for four years, went away to college.
