Shadow

Shadow is a smart, high-energy 4-year-old girl who’s ready for her forever home! She’s eager to please, loves treats, and already knows some basics — so training her is actually fun. She’s the kind of dog who truly wants to work with you. She’ll need daily walks, playtime, and lots of interaction to stay happy. An active home with a secure yard (at least a 5-foot fence) is a must so she can safely burn off energy. Shadow gets along with most dogs but would really love a male dog buddy to call her own. She thrives on attention and would do best with someone who wants an engaged, involved companion. She came into rescue through no fault of her own when her previous owner developed a medical condition. In her former home, she even showed signs of being able to alert to seizures — proof of how closely she bonds with her person.
