Hi! My name is BJ. I am a Yellow Nape Amazon thought to be a middle-aged bird, possibly 25 - 30 years old. I came to Mickaboo when they found me with my former owner who had passed away. I miss her dearly! In the past I've been known to step-up very nicely. My current foster mom has me step-up on a stick. I like to whistle especially when the vacuum cleaner is going. I talk a little bit. One of the things I say is "come on"!

I eat a healthy diet consisting of ZuPreem Pellets, Fruits, and Veggies. My favorite treats are pasta and nuts.

I usually prefer female humans but I will evaluate potential human caregivers on a case-by-case basis. I was aggressive with my foster mom's adult son until I realized that he was the one bringing me food. I am not loud so I would be good in an apartment. I have been around children and other animals and am not fearful of loud noises.
