Pancho

Hello, I'm Pancho and I'm told I'm a very handsome yellow-naped Amazon. I'm about 26 years old and came to Mickaboo in July 2024 because my companion could no longer care for me. I love head scratches & visiting with new people. My foster mom says I've been extremely quiet so far. I will call for you if I want attention though, and even said "hello" one time. I love to hang out on top of my cage, but I am cautious around strange new toys. I can fly, but I don't usually choose to.I just love water & bathing outside (while supervised in my cage) with the hummingbirds - you could say we're birds of a feather. I'm still working to improve my diet, as I used to eat just sunflower seeds. I'm now enjoying a pellet blend, fresh fruits, & veggies. Carrots & apples are my favorites, and I get some seeds as a treat.
