About the Pyrenean Shepherd

The Pyrenean Shepherd is a small, energetic, and agile herding dog from the French Pyrenees mountains, traditionally used to herd sheep. It comes in two coat varieties: Rough-faced (long, profuse hair) and Smooth-faced (shorter hair on the face). Known for its boundless energy, intelligence, and strong working drive, this breed is intensely loyal to its handler but can be reserved with strangers.
