About the Belgian Laekenois
The Belgian Laekenois is one of four varieties of Belgian Shepherd dogs, distinguished by its rough, wiry, and tousled fawn coat. It is a medium-sized, square-proportioned herding dog known for its intelligence, alertness, and protective instincts. Developed in Belgium, it is the rarest of the four varieties and was traditionally used for guarding linen fields as well as herding livestock.
